I ran across the cutest thing by accident when Boutique Cafe's link post popped up on my facebook. Made by Etsy seller DreamSpunKids, if I had a granddaughter this is what she'd wear. Oh well, maybe someday!

My niece Emma already has her present under the tree, and my great niece Bella is too small to really enjoy it. I'm sending this to their mommies. Nicely priced and absolutely gorgeous. Kudos to this Etsy shop.

I have searched the world over (online) for more of this fabric. It is a Michael Miller Lasso Lessons with cowboy kids on Red or Brown. I'm at the end of my stash and it is such a good seller, I 'd love to make more bags with it.

I have spent so much time looking for it, at least 30 minutes a day for about two months now. I was just about ready to give up, and then I thought maybe the bloggers could help me. If you love fabric, make baby items and have run out of your favorite stash, you know exactly how I feel every time this happens. It's like losing a favorite part of your business and hard to let it go.

An Affair of the Heart

I have to admit, when it comes to craft shows, AAOTH is the show of all shows.

Participating in the February shows, in the previous years, has come to a halt. It is the cold that keeps me from the fun and excitement of setting up, staying in nice hotels and anticipating the crowds.

The February show set for the 12th, 13th & 14th features some of the best local artist and crafters from all over the states. Some of the items for sale will be new and unique, but for the collectors, there will be vintage and antiques galore!

Hoping to attend at least one day of the show, weather pending,Following the show, I will be going to arrange my booth at The Market at Quail, which I am sure needs my attention. I haven't re-arranged in months and several items have sold, leaving blank spots everywhere!

A Custom Handmade Diaper Bag for Liliana

Sometimes we just can't find a fabric. When searching endlessly for lily fabric, a custom request, I suggested they drop by the embroidery shop and look for a lily design. The customer came up with ballerina slippers and lilies placed around the center of the bag.

Embellished on the front and back with the design, she also chose the child's name in a sassy bold font. Combined with faux fur zebra and hot pink swirl minky, two outside side pockets, this design is posh and very stylish. Thank you Summer and Liliana's mom for this darling design idea.
